Summer, Freycinet National Park

The UTAS Semester has been over for me since the start of November.
It was a great few months where I made great friends, learnt and got into the swing of things for Uni.

I spent a week with my friend Emily exploring a bit of Tasmania when we went to Wine Glass Bay which is part of Freycinet National Park.

It was a 2 hour drive, then an hours hike on a Nation Park trail to get to the beach.

The weather was perfect for it.

But it was still one hell of a walk for unfit people like us. There may or may not have been old people over taking us. We were appreciating all the imaginative seating that was available.

When we got to the water, we got in and froze. There was many a squeal. But we stayed in until we were numb because we had come so far not to stay in.

Tourist much?

In Tasmania basically no matter where you are you are 2 hours from a beach, and my there are some beautiful beaches, In the lead up to Wine Glass Bay, we reached Oyster Bay and had a look around there too.

The colours were all so vivid, it really was a perfect day.

Once you get to the beach, you have to walk all the way back. *Sigh*
