Aussie Curves : Boots

My sister over at Danimezza has joined forces with other plus size fashion bloggers from around Australia for a weekly outfit photo challenge called Äussie Curves. By the sounds of it they are all using this as a fun creative way to make them start thinking again about what they wear and how they want to present themselves to their friends, family, readers and the WORLD!

I was not originally part of this, nor am I a plus size fashion blogger. I am however a size 14-16 girl who likes to make an effort in my appearance!

I use a Samsung Galaxy S 2 as my camera and these photos are taken in my room because its currently something stupid like 5 degrees outside with a low of -1 tonight. Plus its about 9pm.

This weeks challenge/ theme, which I thought I would play along with is "Boots"!

As I moved to Launceston a month ago I desperately needed some boots, I bought a cheap flat brown pair from Target and a nice black heeled ankel boot from Betts but I want to show you all my brand spanking new boots!

I struggle to find boots to fit my calves, my feet are a normal size 8.5 but my legs are slightly bowed which adds pressure on my ankles so my calves compensate, the [I'm telling myself it's] muscle is bigger and a pain in the arse for boots. I have only ever found 2 pairs that fit and these are one of them!

They are from Sandler and were $159, the front panel is leather, the back is like a wetsuit material. The assistant even said that the type of sole they have is able to be re tread so they can last forever [well maybe not].

 I'm also wearing my pocketed heart skirt from City Chic. Black singlet from Cotton On. A scarf I may have found at a Cinema [don't judge me] and my lovely new Red Trench which I found at the Salvos for $7, I only need to repair the inner lining but, Hey! Who sees that?? Jewellery consists of my long silver chain where I keep my Pandora Charms and Thomas Sabo Pearl.

I wonder what the theme is for next week??
